Today marks one year from your passing.  I think about you always and miss you so much. I will be waiting to see you again one day.  My love  for you will continue every day.

Del, I am  missing you so much.  You were my cousin, my big brother and protector, my mentor and my friend.  I looked up to you and admired you all of my life.  When I was little,  you called me “Denoose the goose”, and I remember stuffing your baseball kletted shoes with paper, so I could wear them just like you did.  I love music  because You loved music.   I will always remember you told me to “ never stop reading, or your world of news will  stop too”.  You were a class act in every way, and I  will always hold you  in high esteem.  I pray you are resting in peace and are reunited with our precious family and your best buddies.    Thank you for teaching me how to enjoy the finer things in life, and always being there for me.  I will miss and love you always.

Growing up only two doors from Del, we would see him in the front yard doing yard work. He would always stop what he was doing, smile on his face and ready to talk with us.  He was a great person and so nice that he let us paint his house for him one summer. He was a very charismatic and impressionable person. A person you can never forget.
