Billie Jo Scott

Billie was born October 23, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama to Stephan and Fleetice Wilson. She graduated from high school, and married Joe David Scott in 1957. She had a career in the Federal Government, working as a secretary for the Technical Division, and working under the Captain for the Long Beach Naval Shipyard from 1956-1988. Billie had a passion for reading, dogs, and other pets.

She is survived by her two brothers, "Duff" Wilson and Fred Wilson. Her children, Teresa (Robert Gonzalez) and Steven Clyde Davis (Terri). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Joseph and James Earl McCloskey, as well as her 8 great grandchildren, Taylor McCloskey, Julia Shipe, Ashton McCloskey, Ireland McCloskey, Chloe Shipe, Jayden McCloskey, Scarlett McCloskey, Matthew Jr. McCloskey, and Greg Hicks.

She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Billie Jo will be taken to her final resting place at Bellevue Memorial Park West End Mausoleum on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 9:00 am.
