Sue A. Roe

Born in Oneonta NY as Sue Colwell (Roe) on December 24, 1961. Sue was raised in and around Oneonta for all her younger years by two loving parents Alice and Robert Colwell. She had many life long friendships formed and lived life to the fullest. She always tried to treat others the way she herself wanted to be treated. Sue was blessed with a loving family including two wonderful daughters she raised by herself with help from her mom and siblings.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed collecting her angels and looking at them and sharing the wondrous collection with her friends and family. She also enjoyed outside bar-b-ques and get-togethers as well as arts and crafts during her personal time.

Sue is survived by two beautiful daughters Amber Jade Allen and Crystal Jade Roe as well as two great son-in-laws Jason Davis Sr and Joseph Boister. She is also survived by her two loving and supportive sisters Roberta Spina-Marrotta and Donna Simons. As well as a very caring brother Richard Colwell. Sue was also survived by four grandchildren Alison Allen age 13 Samantha Davis age 12 Katlynn Whitehead age 10 and Jason Davis Jr age 8, along with eight nephews and five nieces and many great nephews and nieces. She was a strong remarkable woman who lived life by her own terms. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She was predeceased by her sister, Carol Schmidt.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 3 to 5 pm at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta.
