Patricia Ann Tenke Padgett lived in Otego, NY, and was born in Glen Cove, NY. She was predeceased by her sons Julius and Andras Ferencz. She is survived by her children, Joseph Riley, Ginger Gibson, Frances Ferencz, and Maria Hadley She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia was an avid outdoors woman, she loved to hunt and fish. She had a gift for electronics and mechanics and could figure out how anything worked and fix it.
She would often say, don’t ask how someone died, ask how they lived.
She lived life with the fearless freedom of her gypsy roots, she was loud, her voice softened only for her children. She was brave, no man could rein her in or hold her back. She laughed as loud as she wanted at the dirtiest jokes and could make a sailor blush, the only rule in her world was being true to herself. Her list of accomplishments is long, but none of what a person does in life can be brought to the grave. There are no financial institutions in the afterworld, the only real currency of this bankrupt world is love and kindness. That was her true accomplishment in life. She was known to give to total strangers and would always help a friend or family member in need. Fond memories and the love of her family and friends were her true wealth and that is something she can take with her on her journey. She died as she lived; in the way she wanted, at home in her own room with her children by her side.
