When that closed he did purchasing for Mirabitos. He also drove the pace car at Afton Raceway on Friday nights. When he retired (again) his daughters said no more retirement parties.

In his earlier years he raced stock cars at Morris and some other tracks. In 2005, Marty was inducted into the Old-Timers Stock car Hall of Fame. He was also a longtime NASCAR fan and attended many races.
Marty was an ever faithful N.Y. Giants fan and was able to attend many games over the years.
Most of all, Marty was a kind, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was so very proud of his family. His greatest joy was being with them. He also cared greatly for his many friends over the years and of course the “gang” of 10. All of these people are now being a huge support system.
Marty and Bonnie also traveled a lot. Two cross country trips to see many national sites and visit family and friends. Myrtle Beach was a must in October with the “gang”.
