Lynn Charlotte Climenhage

She was born on November 7, 1953 in London, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Kenneth (Climenhage) Philips and Louise (Winacott) Rowe, and moved to New York with her family when she was young.

Lynn graduated from Charlotte Valley Central School in 1971. She spent her life loving and being loved by her family. She had a way of making all she met feel welcome. Lynn loved grammar and to read. She was very insistent that her daughters and grandchildren learn and use proper grammar, something we all hold close to our hearts.

She is survived by her life partner of 29 years Dave Bouton, daughters Heather (McKee) Harrington of MO and Valeree (McKee) Hill of Oneonta, and son-in-law Edward Walker of Otego. Grandchildren Caleb Harrington (US Marines), Abigail Harrington (Hunter Galley) of Otego, McKee Tolley of Green, Kallie-Mae Walker (Kyle Walwrath) of Cooperstown, Ivy-Maree Walker (Dillon Bishop) of Laurens, Anna-Rae Walker of Sidney, Kaithan-Tayte Walker of Oneonta, Rosalie Hill of Oneonta, Jaxon and Diesel Harrington of MO. Great granddaughters Kinsley Galley and Novalee Bishop. Sisters Laura Goodrich (Reg), Karren Kolberg (Tom) as well as several nieces and nephews and her cats, Calvin Boras and Ophelia Gretal.

She was predeceased by her parents, daughters’ father Cody McKee, and honorary daughter LaRae (Field) Maldonado.

Honoring Lynn’s wishes, there will be no services or burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynn’s memory may be made to Super Heroes Humane Society, 697 Winney Hill Road, Oneonta, NY 13820, where she adopted Calvin and Ophelia.
