She was born June 8, 1939, in Manhattan, the daughter of the late William and Eileen (Kelly) Kennedy.
Eileen worked for Olympia Construction of Manhattan in the Human Resource Department. She moved from Yonkers to the Oneonta area in 1994. Eileen attended St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in New Berlin for a period of time. She was a regular contributor to many charities, including St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project as well as many others.
Eileen loved to read and do crossword puzzles. Eileen also spent time living in London, England and loved to travel. She also had a great love of her family. Eileen truly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Paglia and Roger Fregia of Oneonta, her son George Field of Billings, MT and his companion Liz of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Bill, Jessica, Brianna, Georgie, Calysa, Nina, Evelyn, Declan, and Rachel; her great grandchildren, Urijah, Elizabeth, and Xavier; her Nieces Jeanne and Danielle.
Eileen was predeceased by her brothers William Kennedy and John Kennedy.
A Celebration of Eileen’s Life will take place at a later date.
