William L. "Bill" Theisen, a lifelong resident of Omaha, passed away at age 91 after a brief illness. He served in WWII as a signalman aboard the USS Columbia.
He is preceded in death by his cherished and beloved wife of 65 years, Vera May Theisen and his son Larry W. Theisen. Also preceded in death by parents Frank and Irene Theisen, sisters Esther (Smolinski) and Virginia (Hynes), brothers Robert, Richard, and Jim.
Survived by sister Gerri (Kleffman) and brother Tom Theisen as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Most loving grandfather of Mrs. Tracy L. Theisen-Niland of Las Vegas, NV and Lucas Theisen of FL.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, from 6-8 pm. Service will be Friday, May 26, at 1pm, both at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center Street in Omaha.
