My condolences and prayers to the Harris family on the passing of "Red".  I worked with Red in the early 2000's at Cape Environmental and he was a good mentor.He always had a great way of including humor during times of stress.

I worked with Red at the US Army Corps of Engineers at the Omaha District for many years.  He worked in the Emergency Management Office here at the District.  Always upbeat and he was the "go to person" in his field.  He was a great guy and has been missed since his retirement years ago.  My thoughts and prayers are with Lucy and his children.

We still talk about all the good times we had as neighbors back in Westchester in Millard and our kids growing up right alongside Rob & Jeff.  Great memories.  Red was a super neighbor and great friend.

Even though we have only known Red for about 3 or 4 years, through Nebraska Football tailgating, we will truly miss him.  What a great man he was....we always enjoyed listening to his stories and looked forward to the next home game. He will be rooting for the Cornhuskers from heaven!! Please accept our sympathies and know that we are praying for your whole family through this difficult time.

My Dad was always my hero, my role model, and I hope to be as good of a man as he was.
There wont be a day that goes by that I won't think about you, or see something I want to tell you about, or ask for your advice on.
 I promise to look at every '56 Chevy part I see at a swap meet for you. Even the ones you don't need! 
I love you, and I miss you terribly. 
Until we meet again, it will seem like forever since I've seen you, but I know it will be just a moment for you.
