Mel was a long-time employee of Western Electric, where he retired from. He also worked for nearly 30 years at Ralston Keno – he liked playing Keno too!
He was a professional clown, known as ‘Trac the Clown,’ was a member of the World Clown Association and won multiple awards in clown competition.
Mel cheered for the Minnesota Vikings and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He loved coffee, John Deere tractors, watching golf, John Wayne movies and more recently, the Hallmark channel (but don’t tell anyone!).
