Judy married Roger on March 30th, 1974. They settled in Elkhorn, Nebraska and together they had 3 children: Lisa, Sherry and Mike. Judy took pride in being a homemaker for many years. She was very family oriented and supportive of their endeavors. Judy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being a planner for birthday and holiday parties. When the children got a little bit older, she found satisfying work in the retail business.
Judy and Roger recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March. Judy said the reason they worked out so well all the time was because opposites attract. They have proved to be a resilient couple over the years, who deeply cared for one another.
Judy took pleasure in the simple things in life such as traveling, listening to oldies music, and baseball games. She also liked outdoor concerts and socializing with family and friends. In her later years, she took joy in dining out, visiting the casino and watching game shows on TV.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Edna Garber, sister Mary Turman and granddaughter Katie Kingery.
She is survived by her husband Roger Armell, sister Karen (Steve) Krueger, daughter Lisa (Joe) Popken, daughter Sherry (John) Hepinstall, son Mike Armell, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
