Jeanne was born to Lyman & Edith Thornton on January 21, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the youngest of five children. Her siblings, Charlotte, Arthur, Luanna and Betty preceded her in death.
On February 18, 1950 she married the love of her life, Rollie George White. They enjoyed 35 years together before his death in 1985.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Church Organ Fund, or Geibert Scholarship Fund.
