Frances Dunn

Frances Dunn, age 94, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Alfio and Rose DeMare.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Dunn; siblings, Josephine Dobbs and Sam DeMare. Frances is survived by her children, Kathleen Deal and Thomas Cambron (Teri); step-children, Nancy Meyer, Robert Dunn, Linda Bladt, and David Dunn; sister, Julianna Svec; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Fran lived a long and joyful life, surrounded by many who loved her. At a young age she found joy in music and art, always seeing the beauty around her. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at Farmers National Company in Omaha.

Fran loved her family and enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren. She never missed a chance to cheer them on in any activity. Through her faith, strength and determination she was a survivor of Ovarian Cancer. She was a beautiful soul who seemed to make a kind and cheerful impression on those around her. Her spirit was one of a kind, contagious and unforgettable.

She will be dearly missed.
