Donna Lee Chenoweth, long-time resident of Carter Lake, Iowa, passed into Glory on Jan 29, 2022, to follow daughter Wendy who also had gone Home two months prior. Donna is preceded in death by her husband Wendell “Duck” Chenoweth, firstborn Randall Raymond, and second-born Wendy Rae Chenoweth. She is survived by daughter Kerri Lynn Copper, and sons: Russell Edward and Louis Randall (Randy) Chenoweth. Donna, born June 26, 1931, will long be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She attributes her mother, Creda Hackenberg, with “giving her flight”, to cultivate her many talents and skills and to do all things that brought her joy, including the pursuit of a relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. First among those skills was seamstress; she spent many hours making clothing for herself and her children; skillfully stitched. Donna retired from the Omaha World-Herald in 1993, after 18 years of devoted service; she loved that job! Donna sang beautifully, and she loved to dance. She is now dancing and singing with the angels!
