Del Jean Bell (Thomazin) Miller

Del Jean Bell Thomazin Miller, 86, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born on March 18, 1936 to Delryn and Stella Thomazin. Del Jean graduated from Benson High School in 1954. She always said the best decision she ever made was to marry Robert Lee Miller. They were married for 63 years. Del Jean loved to give her time to charitable organizations like the American Cancer Society and her local church. She loved to host guests and large family dinners. In her later years her relationship with God became very close, especially after the passing of Bob. She always wanted to know what God wanted her to do and modeled that well.

Del Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller; her parents, Delryn and Stella Thomazin; and her brother George Thomazin. She is survived by her daughters, Michaelene (Steven) Maurstad, Jacquelene (Thomas) Donovan; grandchildren, Kirstin (Pat) Ricketts, Lindsey (John) Elsaesser, Kelsey (Tanner) Almery, Joseph (Francesca) Donovan, Robert (Marisa) Donovan, and Michael Donovan; great-grandchildren Lyla, Evie & Ali Elsaesser; Henry, Graham, Samantha & Theodore Ricketts; Elwood, Annalisa & Burkley Almery; Paige & McKenna Donovan; and John & Katie Donovan.

Services will take place on Friday, November 11th, 2022 for family and friends at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St., Omaha, NE 68106. Visitation at 12:30pm and Funeral Service at 1:30pm.
