Sherry Kay Williams, 75, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2023. Sherry was born on February 10, 1948 in Dyersburg, TN. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ronald Williams; and her parents, Billy and Sarah Robertson. She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer Pleasants (Glenn); granddaughter, Audrey Pleasants; and sister, Truda Robertson. Sherry retired from Kroger where she worked as a deli manager. She had a very outgoing personality and was usually the “life of the party”. She always wanted everyone to have a good time and enjoy life. She had a caring and selfless spirit. In her free time, she enjoyed watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Memphis Grizzlies. She loved music, especially Christian and country music. She was Keith Urban’s #1 fan and even got to meet him. Her greatest joy in life was being “Nini” to her granddaughter, Audrey, and they had a very special relationship. Sherry was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Compel Church. She spent her mornings doing her daily devotions and scripture reading. One thing most people will remember about Sherry is how much pride she took in her appearance and loved lots of sparkle. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 22, 2023, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Southwoods. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her honor to Disabled American Veterans, St. Jude, or the Shriners.
