Louise Appling Lewis, 88, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on June 22, 2015. There will be a gathering of friends on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 beginning at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the service will follow on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Interment will take place at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Bartlett, TN. She graduated from South Side High School. Louise is preceded in death by her loving husband, Elbert “Dobby” Lewis; parents, Henry Clay and Rosa Aline Appling; sister, Elizabeth Hancock and brother, Hank Appling. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Gentry, Nancy Kennedy (Don), Cindy Black (Brent) and Michelle Hazelrig (Greg); grandchildren, David Kennedy (Staci), Brian Kennedy (Jennifer), Robin Stimpson (Dan), Jennifer Strawn (Josh), Meghan Black, Meredith McCarter (Micah) and 8 great-grandchildren.
