Dennis Wayne Moore, 81, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2024. Mr. Moore was born on June 20, 1943 in Independence, MS to the late William Allen and Addie Lee Moore. In his younger years, he worked with the Forestry Commission. His main career was with Southern Upholstery where he worked for over 30 years. He also did some woodworking and cabinet making throughout the years. In his free time, he loved being outdoors, whether that be fishing or working in his yard. He also enjoyed watching westerns. Mr. Moore was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member at Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Sue Moore; brothers: Harvey, J.C., William, and John Henry; and his sisters, Margie and Shirley. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Adams (Michael); daughter, Patricia Wilson (Michael); son, Danny Moore (Kristen); grandchildren: Brandy Mitchell (Tony), Nathan Adams, Aliyah Adams, Justin Wilson, and Dakota Moore; and great-grandson, Landon Hughes. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blocker Cemetery. In lieu flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church in his honor.
