Charles Leon Johnson, Jr.

Charles Leon Johnson, Jr., 81, of Senatobia, MS went to be with the Lord Friday, July 2, 2021. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Leon Johnson, Sr. and Carolyn Johnson; and his brother, James Elroy Johnson. He is survived by his sisters: Ginger Johnson and Sandra Wylie(David); and nephews: Derrick Keith Johnson and Dale Logan Poole. Mr. Johnson was born in Cockrum, MS on January 27, 1940. He is a graduate of Olive Branch High School. He served our Country in the United States Navy from where he retired after 21 years of service. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and ceramics. Mr. Johnson was a believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of New Garden Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 am, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
