Alice L. Smith, 74, of Byhalia, MS, passed away Saturday September 18, 2021. Alice was an avid reader and loved music of all types. She loved being around her family and friends and especially loved her grandchildren. Alice adored her dog, Bella, as well. She was retired from TBC Corporation and also from Home Depot. She will be missed dearly by her family and her friends. Alice was preceded in death by three husbands, Kenneth Leslie Templeton, Butch Everett Smith, and most recently, Ron Delaney. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Mae Asbury and Vernon E. "Skeet" Stone as well as her brother, Danny Asbury. Alice is survived by her children, Diane Johnson, Tony Templeton (Amy), Dana Baggett (Brett), Heath Smith, and Mike Delaney (Kim), one sister, Laura Gilliland (Andy), and one brother, Mark Asbury (Anna). She also leaves to cherish her memory eight grandchildren, Justin (Jessica), Christopher, John Michael, Garrett, Adam, Wesley, Josh, and Hunter, and two great grandchildren, Jordan and Jaxon. The family will receive friends Saturday evening September 25, 2021 from 5-6pm with the funeral service immediately following at 6pm, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
