Old Town and Stratford, CT—Pault T. Corvino, 61, died February 20, 2013 at a Bangor following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 17, 1952 in Bridgeport, CT a son of Paul S. “Corky” and Marion E. (BeCava) Corvino.
Paul grew up in Stratford and was a 1970 graduate of Stratford High School. Paul became a master carpenter, specializing in finish work and was very proud that he reconstructed the “wing park stable” formerly a part of the Wing Park Estate. He was an avid hunter and gun collector. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Old Town and served as Exhalted Ruler and was an enthusiastic participant of Project Graduation. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed riding his Triumph that he rebuilt and, of course, his Harley.
Paul is survived by four children Christia Hessel of Ansonia, Lydon Cacavollia of Old Town, Sean Corvino and his wife Heather of Greenbush, and Brian Corvino of Milford; three grandchildren Conner, Kenleigh and another grandson; his parents, brother Greg Corvino and his sons, and sister Donna Calzone and her husband Robert and their three son all of CT.
