OLD TOWN – Juliette Paradis, 95, passed away June 8th 2021 at Ross Manor in Bangor, Maine. She was born November 29th, 1925 in Old Town, Maine. She is the daughter of the late Ambrose and Euphimie ( Boudreau) Dupuis.
Juliette was a kind, fun loving energetic person, who brought much happiness to those she was around. She graduated from Old Town High School. She was a long time member of the Holy Family Parish Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. Juliette’s working career started at her sister Joe’s convenience store. She also worked at Jordan Casket Company in Old Town as a seamstress. She retired from the University of Maine after working many years in Housekeeping in the Student Dormitories. Juliette loved being around the young students and helping them out any way she could. Juliette was always upbeat and ready for any adventure that came her way. After her retirement she spent many wonderful summers camping in Bar Harbor with her late husband, Maynard Paradis welcoming many family and friends to join them.
In addition to her parents, Juliette was predeceased by her husband Maynard Paradis, her first husband Leo Thibodeau, three sisters Mary Collins Spinney, Delima Parady, and Joseline LeBlanc, three brothers Lionel Dupuis, Edgar Dupuis and twin brother-Romeo Dupuis.
She is survived by her step children Dorothy Graves and her husband Gregory, Deborah Cyr and her husband Cary, Daniel Paradis and his wife, Karen. Her loving Grandchildren, that brought her much joy Nicholas Perkins, Christopher Perkins, Kayla Johnson and her husband Garrett and Morgan Paradis, and many special nieces and nephews.
Her Family expresses their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at Ross Manor-Engle Place and Long term Care in Bangor, as well as the St. Joseph's Hospice Care Unit, with special thanks from the family to Hospice nurse Dana that provided Juliette with loving care and companionship.
A graveside service will be conducted 9AM Friday June 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord Food Pantry 429 Main St Old Town, ME 04468
