OLD TOWN—Jessie Lee Snyder, 32, a courageous and lifelong fighter passed away April 12, 2019 at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 13, 1986 in Kissimmee, FL.
Jessie was a strong girl who never complained about her situation; rather, she cared deeply for others and wanted them to be happy. She loved to go to Bingo with her aunt Sarah and to the movies with her cousins. Jessie loved all animals but was especially fond of her dog Holly, cat Autumn, and her horse Honey-Bee. She raised money for Operation Liftoff of Maine under the team name Jessie Snyder Riders.
She is survived by her parents Greg and Katie Marquis; grandparents Robert and Jeanne Marquis ; aunt Sarah Trask and her husband Doug, cousins Brandee, Trudy, Robin, and Emmett as well as many more aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by grandparents George and Ida O’Leary and Millie Snyder, and a cousin Molly O’Leary.
A celebration of her life gathering will be conducted 5-7pm Wednesday April 17, 2019 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St. Old Town where remembrances and prayers will be shared at 7PM. Burial will be later in the spring at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. Contributions in Jessie’s memory may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation www.wish.org
