Milford - Jacqueline Lillian Grenier passed peacefully in Bangor on December 21, 2016. She was surrounded by her three children, brother and sister, grandson and other family members. Jackie, of Milford, was born on February 10, 1936, in Eagle Lake, daughter of Paul Joseph and Amanda Marie (Morneault) Grenier. From that small town, she travelled throughout the United States and Pacific Rim, making lots of friends along the way. She loved working with others, and finished her working life as a devoted caregiver for homebound people. She cherished her home in the Maine Woods, and loved to garden and raise Pekingese dogs. She also loved to listen to classic country music and passed that love on to her children. Jackie is survived by her son Richard and his wife Barbara of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Kimberley Loring and her husband Wane of Old Town; daughter Debra Martin of Elyria, OH; six grandchildren, Danielle, Adam, Tyler, Danny, Sara and Cody; and nine great grandsons. In addition, she is survived by her brother George Grenier and his wife Wanda of Old Town; sister Pauline Shorette; and by her special friend, Fernald Madden of Milford. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Herbert Grenier and Richard Grenier; and two sisters, Jeanne Stuart and Rolande Michaud. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful professionals at the Eastern Maine Medical Center, who took such good care of her in the end. The family is eternally grateful. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., December 27, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Old Town. Immediately following the service, all are invited to the home of her daughter, Kim Loring, for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. A private burial service will be held at a later date at the West Enfield Cemetery.
