Frank proudly served his country, serving as a Sgt with the US Army during the Viet Nam war. He was employed at the Old Town Pulp Mill for 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #75 and VFW Post #3381 where he enjoyed meeting his friends and socializing. During his younger years he enjoyed camping and day trips to Peaks Kenney State Park.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Violette) Dalrymple, a son Kevin Violette; a grandson Corey Violette ; 2 sisters Christina St. Louis and her husband Rick, Frances Frizzell, 3 brothers Gary Dalrymple and his wife Jeanne, Roger Richards and his wife Vicky, Bruce Richards and his wife Cheryl. His feline companion Oasis. He was predeceased by his parents and daughter Pam Marie.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be conducted 2PM Thursday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town where friends may call from 1PM until time of service. Immediately following the service, all are invited to the American Legion Hall, Water St., Old Town for a time of fellowship.
