Mary (Tonon) Ronzo, age 92, of Southington, and formerly of Old Saybrook, passed away on February 23, 2017 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, with family by her side. Mary was born on April 27, 1924 to the late Augusta (Fiorot) and John Tonon. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Ronzo and eight brothers and sisters.
Mary began her career as a cashier at the Connecticut Light & Power Company in 1961. She held sales and secretarial posts of increasing responsibility, transferring to Northeast Utilities Berlin general offices in 1976 as secretary to the director of System Communications and ended her career at the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Station as office supervisor. Mary was an active member of the Estuary Council of Old Saybrook until she moved to Southington in 2013.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Dineen Garon and Marybeth Moleski, as well as a special son-in-law, Joseph Garon, four grandchildren, Jill Harvey and her husband, George, Michael Garon and his wife, Jennifer, Caitlin Moleski, and Alyssa Meehan and her husband, Donald. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Jane and Everly and many nieces and nephews.
