Jaime Michelle Sarrantonio, age 30, passed away in the early hours of August 17, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut on September 1, 1987 to Robin L. Fisher and Philip A. Sarrantonio.
Jaime was a brilliant student with a curious mind, graduating with high honors from Farmington High School in 2005 and cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2009. After college, she pursued an impactful career in Nashville's music industry, supporting independent artists and coordinating major music festivals across the country and abroad.
Jaime was passionate about music, loved people, and never stopped exploring the world around her. In her short life, she visited 40 countries, making friends wherever she went and touching the hearts of everyone around her with an exuberant joie de vivre and pure generosity of spirit.
She is survived by her loving parents and sister, Jolie A. Sarrantonio, her boyfriend Alexander R. Leibow, aunts, uncles, cousins—The Mallons, the Fishers, the Sarrantonios, the DeLisles, the Zottis—and incalculable friends and extended family.
Those whose lives were touched by this beautiful soul are invited to gather for a celebration of Jaime's precious life on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd, Old Saybrook, CT. The funeral will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church, 56 Great Hammock Rd, Old Saybrook, CT.
