Henry Joseph Galasso

Henry Joseph Galasso (Hank), 82, of Old Saybrook, CT, passed away Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at Middlesex Hospital Hospice Care. He was born in New York City to the late Joseph and Frances Galasso. Hank was predeceased by his wife, Irene Galasso, to whom he was married for 31 years. He earned his B.S. at Fordham College. Hank worked in Risk Management Insurance until his retirement in 1998. He was a long-standing member of the Lyme Land Trust. Throughout his life Hank loved hunting, the outdoors and spending time with his family.

Hank leaves behind his son John Galasso of Tempe, AZ, daughter Deborah Galasso, her husband Jeff Scheckwitz, grandchildren Jonah and Katie Scheckwitz of Old Lyme, CT and sister Joan Schaaf and her family of Savannah, GA.

Hank’s family will greet relatives and friends at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook on Saturday October 15th from noon-2pm with a memorial service immediately following.
