Tobias Joseph Mullen V

Tobias graduated from The University of Denver, with degrees in Science (Astrophysics) and Mathematics.

Tobias was a proud, self-proclaimed “nerd”. He enjoyed tabletop games and gatherings to tell stories with family and friends, and was an award winning playwright and storyteller. He was passionate about his family. On an ideal day, he would love to play with three-year-old son, Finn. He would take him to the park to play and spend time reading him stories. He loved well . . . was well-loved . . . and will be greatly missed.

Tobias is survived by his son, Finn Cooley Mullen; his father, Tobias “Toby” Joseph Mullen, IV; his mother, Lynda Quarles Mullen; his loving partner of 20 years, Alexis Cooley; his sister, Melissa Castrillo (Shawn); and his sister, Amanda Mullen. Tobias also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and extended family members.

There will be a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 6pm – 8pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Mullen family by selecting “Add a Memory” at the bottom of this page.
