It's been 8 and a half years. I think about you often. And I know when you're thinking of me. A lot has changed in these 8 years. Changes still to come. I wish you were still here, momma. Theres so much I can still learn from you. So much I wish you could have taught me.

I found that one giraffe. The one with your scrunchie, earring and cross necklace. I keep her in my car now. Ever since my accident, I feel safer with her there. Feels like you're there with me, protecting me.

Today marks one year since you left us to be with God up in heaven.  Its been a very crazy year so far. Time has sped up, slowed down, even felt like it stopped sometimes... but I feel joy and happiness knowing that youre watching over us. I love you. Save a cloud for me will ya momma? ?

A year ago today, Heaven gained another Angel. It feels weird... Time has slowed down, sped up and felt like it almost has stopped... With mom's passing, it has also brought new light and happiness. She made sure to leave me with some one who I would love unconditionally and who'd do the same for me.  1 year anniversary of my beloved mom and also the 1 year anniversary of Eric having asked me out. And I can't wait for this summer. A little more than a month away. It's going to be the best.

It has been a year ago today since my sweet girl, Tanya, passed into a better place, a spiritual place.  Heaven got a Special Angel that day.  She was an angel here too, always good: honest, loyal, caring, thoughtful, loving, a beautiful person.  Life will never be the same without her.  My dear daughter, you are deeply missed, and now special memories of you live in my heart.

Yesterday, May 16, 2014 was Shealynn's 23rd birthday, your lovely daughter and my wonderful granddaughter.  We had a great celebration and she got a lot of fun gifts.  I remember when Shea was born, she was such a beautiful baby, a little premature, but perfect in every way.  She had that dark pretty hair and skin like she had a tan.  I remember her little ears were so tiny and thin, a beautiful little baby then and beautiful young woman now.

It will be Mother's Day this Sunday.  I remember when you were born, I was the happiest mother in the world to have a beautiful baby girl like you, so pretty and sweet and precious to me.  I know you had that special feeling when your daughter, Shealynn, was born.  She was such a precious little bundle of joy, the light of your life.  Becoming a mother is the most wonderful, glorious and special thing that we do in our lives.  I will always cherish the memories of my children, as children and as adults and keep those memories in my heart.  I remember when Shea was born with that beautiful black hair and dear little face.  You loved her more than life itself.  That's what motherhood is all about, loving a child with all your heart and soul.  We will miss you on this special day.

Well, today it was Easter and the weather was beautiful for all the Easter egg hunts.  Remember when we had eggs hunts for Shea when she was young.  We would hide all of those eggs with money, toys and candy; we would hide them everywhere in the yard.  And Shea would have so much fun finding them.  She would sit in the middle of the floor and just tear into those eggs, opening them in about two minutes.  It's such a blessed time of the year and I feel so blessed you were a part of my life, my precious, beautiful daughter, Tanya.  You were so missed.

Not a day goes by at work that I don't think about you Tanya. I wish that you were still here so that we could laugh about all the craziness that goes on around the office. I imagine that you and Monica are up there having a good laugh about Emdeon. You are missed.

Yesterday would have been momma's 42 birthday- though she would never admit to it. Hah. As I left her house, I noticed her tulips bloomed. One by the tree, and the one in the planter. After our crazy weather of heat, rain, wind and cold temperatures the past week, those two red tulips are were the only ones that survived. I'd like to think that's her gift to us. To let us know that she's still here with us and never going to leave us.

Today is April 15, your birthday, Tanya.  I remember the day you were born, it was a beautiful Saturday at 7:32pm.  We went to the hospital very early that day, we were really anxious to see you.  We lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, but you were born in this little outlying hospital, Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana.  You were the most beautiful baby, with your long dark hair and adorable little face.  You had the prettiest little nose and the softest skin.  You were such a good baby, always happy and such a joy.  As you were always a joy to me, a really special daughter that I miss now and will miss forever, but will hold you close in my heart.  Love you my sweet, precious girl, Mom.

I missed Valentine's Day.  I remember, Tanya, when you would say just us girls were going to celebrate Valentine's Day.  So we would all get each other Flowers, Candy and Jewelry and then we would order in Logans (your favorite restaurant) for our dinner to celebrate the day.  Fun times and I Love You.

It is now St. Patrick's Day, Tanya.  I remember the times when you went downtown to an Irish Pub to celebrate with your friends at Medifax.  You had a fun time.  We would watch QVC for a whole day and buy all of that Irish jewelry.  You are dearly missed.

We just celebrated Christmas.  It was fun but it wasn't the same without you being here, wanting to make the celebration last for hours and hours.  I remember the times when you loved to surprise everyone with that special gift, the one we couldn't figure out what it was.  You loved for your gifts to be a surprise too; you wouldn't think of peaking and find out ahead of time what it was.  Shea brought your giraffe, which she calls Tanya, dressed in all your things and this special baby doll that looks like you.  You were with us in our hearts, so we could hold you near during this special holiday.

It is almost Christmas, Tanya.  I know how very much you loved the Christmas holidays.  It was your favorite time of year.  We will miss you so much, but we will keep you in our hearts so you can be with us on this beautiful holiday.

Tanya, you were a great Mom, Sister and Daughter.  You had a beautiful mind, loving soul and great spirit, and we miss you a whole bunch every day.

Tanya was my neighbor and friend growing up.  So very sorry for your loss!  I will keep the memories of her close to my heart!

Another former co-worker of Tanya's and so sadden to hear this news. She was dedicated and driven as an employee, and as a individual she had a beautiful spirit.

I remember the UT-FL football games - getting together, then grilling at our house after - we had SO much fun.  Remember the hair coloring incident with Lisa ?  We were OUTTA CONTROL.  Having Shea running around the office, and hearing you yell "SHEA LYNN" - we would laugh!  MediFAX days were the best....  You have one hell of a gang to hang out with now.  Say hi to Mike, Tom, Andrew, Dawn, & Monica.  My toughts and prayers are with you, and your family.

Tanya, my sweet and beautiful girl, you have made my life so amazingly happy.  You are the light of my life and a blessing to your whole family.  We had so much fun traveling everywhere together, Hawaii, New York, Vegas, Florida, New England, etc.

I remember going to check out Tanya's new house, before she bought it & telling her she should do a hang out room in the basement.  She came to the cabin with us her & shea lynn, we had a great time. But working with her & Gavin on PC stuff was fun, Gavin told us a story once of his pet bats & we laughed & laughed for days.  All of us at Medifax every Friday coming to work & talking about Senfield & Friends !

Tanya, your former co-workers at Medifax remember you fondly and miss you. I miss our lunches together and your stories about your daughter. My condolences to your family.
