Juanita started work at First American when she was 17 years old in 1946. She took a two-year leave of absence to go to France while Ross was in the Air Force and retired after 30 years of service.
Juanita was a long time active member of the Old Hickory Church of Christ. Her faith was an inspiration to many, especially her children. She was always an active participant in church activities. She made faith in God the center of her family life and her many Christian friendships.
Juanita was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and neighbors. This is just who she was. She loved to cook. She blessed many people through the years with her generous spirit providing meals and the special cakes she loved to bake. Juanita was able to live in her home until recently, which was a blessing for her and family.
The family asked that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, her laughter, and her faith in the Lord. She will always be loved, respected, and missed by her family.
