Preceded in death by parents, Sheliah & Dattie Cripps; siblings, Irene, Lucille, Bud & James.
Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Fay Cripps; daughters, Teresa (Donnie) Meador, Kimberly (Mark) Tankersley, Kathy (Don) McCain; grandchildren, Donnie (Laura) Meador, Weston McCain, Colin McCain, Samantha (Matthew) Thompson, Makalah Tankersley; great grandchildren, Hannah Meador, Maggie Meador, Sarah Parker Meador, Peyton Thompson, Bianca Thompson, Bayler Arnold and a host of family and friends.
Johnny attended DuPont High School, served in the Air National Guard and was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church.
Johnny liked spending time outdoors gardening or animal watching. His love for family was unconditional his devotion to his wife, children, grandchildren was the rock and pillar of strength he truly made everyone feel special in their own way his love will carry in the memories and hearts of family and friends. Johnny will truly be missed by all.
Visitation Saturday June 23rd 12pm until 2pm at Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr Chuck Groover officiating.
