Joann Harlan passed away peacefully at 88 on November 10th, 2024, in Murfreesboro, TN. Born November 5th, 1936, in Delbarton, WV, she graduated from Matewan High School.
She is preceded in death by her father Oliver Staten, sister Billie Brown, and brother Dallas Staten.
She is survived by her sons Bryan (Lyndee) and Scott (Lisa) Harlan; grandchildren Michael, Sarah, Jason (Michelle), Lindsay Bell, and Joey Brakefield; and great-grandchildren Austen Conaster (Darah), Zoe, Evie, Xander, Keagan Bell, and Ethan Bell.
A private viewing will be held at Hermitage Memorial Garden on November 14th, 2024, followed by a public graveside service at 12:00 PM, which will be officiated by her grandson Jason Harlan. Lunch will follow the service.
