James Rhea House

HOUSE, James Rhea, age 83 of Donelson, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012. Preceded in death by his son-in-law, Larry Smith. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Ardyce House; son, David (Susan) House; daughters, Julie House, Diane (Tim) Clark and Joni Smith; grandchildren Eric and Tyler House, Ryan (Kristen) Humphreys, McKinley Clark and Kendall Smith. Mr. House was a graduate of Gordonsville High School and Tennessee Tech. He was a member of McWhirtersville Masonic Lodge and a member of Donelson Heights United Methodist Church for over 55 years. He was a Charter member of Ravenwood Club and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel With Pastor Allen Black and Rev. Chris Seifert officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Grandsons and Mark and Nathan Pugh will serve as Active Pallbearers. O.B.A. of Ravenwood Club will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation with the family 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 11:00 a.m. – Noon Thursday.
