Fran was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Virgil Orr and Carrie Derrick Orr.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 47 years, Bruce L. Hite; son, Kevin (Tracie) Hite, and their daughter, Katelyn Hite; daughter, Pamela Hite (Will Diaz), and their daughters, Ona Diaz and Isolde Diaz; and her beloved bird, Aussie.
Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Gary Speich officiating.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
