She was born in Shelby, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Roland Judson Powell and Martha Guffey Powell. Mrs. Robinson loved making jewelry, gardening, working puzzles, and recycling; she cherished her Bible more than anything.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Robinson of Cocoa, Florida, and eight siblings, Richard Powell, Essie Pruitt, Florence Childers, Roland Judson Powell, Jr., Mary Whisnant, Charlie Avero Powell, John Alton White, and Chester Cisero White.
She is survived by one of her nine siblings, Lona Mae “Jean” Richards, of Memphis, Tennessee, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date in Florida.
