Joan J. Rosenberg

Joan J. Rosenberg, 94, of Timonium, MD, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011 at home. Born and raised in Great Neck, NY, Joan had moved to Jersey City, then to Parlin for 17 years, with the last 12 years in Timonium, MD with her family.

Mrs. Rosenberg was a homemaker, and she enjoyed cooking and playing the lottery.

Joan was predeceased by her husband, Charles Rosenberg, and her son, Richard Rosenberg. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Joan & Bill Cowan; her son and daughter in law, Robert & Lillian Rosenberg; her son, Ron Rosenberg, and his companion, Jo Ann Messina; and her daughter in law, Maureen Rosenberg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ginny, Richard, Michael, Vanessa, Denise, William, & Brianne, and her great grandchildren, Carolyn, Lauren, Amanda, Matthew, & Nicholas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 from 4-8pm and on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 8:30-9:30am at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning at the funeral home, with interment to follow to Forest Green Park Cemetery, Texas Rd., Morganville, NJ.
