He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce; his son Scott; three step-daughters, Allayson, Amy, and Laura; one step-son, Greg; his two sisters, Alice Swilley and Cynthia Hollis; as well as many great-nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law that he treasured.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, William Pugh Watson and Bessie Turner Watson; his brothers, James, W. Cornelius, and David; and his sister, Elizabeth Bays.
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, a gathering will occur from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 105 E. Loula Street, Olathe, KS 66061. After the gathering, a memorial service will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home & Cremation Service, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Blackbob Road, Olathe, KS 66062.
