Theresa was born on June 29, 1975 in Aurora, IL to George Wayne Yeager, Sr and Mary Lynn (Woods) Yeager. Theresa graduated from Yorkville High School in Illinois and attended Eurika College where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree and met her husband Karl Corder. She worked as a Para-Educator, a Job Coach for the Olathe School district working first at the Juvenile Detention Center and the last few years at Olathe North. She was firm with high expectation, dedication, and passion for her students which helped them to do well and achieve new skills. In 2008 she gave birth to Connor. Corder her pride and joy who she loved with all her heart.
Theresa was dedicated to her family and friends. She had a unique mind and sense of humor that brought joy to people she met. She was very proud of the successes of her family and friends especially of her son, husband, students, nieces and nephews. She loved her cats. She had a love for animal and enjoyed gardening, baking and reading. But most of all she loved spending time with her son.
She is survived by her husband, Karl Corder; son, Connor Martin Corder; her parents George Yeager Sr and Mary (Woods) Yeager; brother, George Wayne Yeager Jr.; and sister, Cheri Nestor (Steve) plus several nephews and nieces. As well as many aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00am-12:00pm at McGilley and Frye Funeral Home with memorial service to follow at 12:00pm.
