Teresa Lynn Cole, 69, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 23, 2024, at her home in Olathe, Kansas. Born on February 28, 1955, in Culver City, California, she was the cherished daughter of Max and June Cole.
Teresa made Olathe, Kansas, her home for over fifty years, where she cultivated deep roots and touched the lives of countless individuals with her warmth and kindness. She was a dedicated mother to Nathan Raymor (Cristy Raymor) and Sharon Raymor (Jesse Cannelos), and grandmother to Cole, Nick, and Abby Raymor, as well as her bonus grandchildren Blake and Lydia Autrey; a role which brought immense joy, pride, and fulfilment to her life.
Teresa was known for her genuine love for the simple pleasures of life, her infectious laugh, and her great sense of humor. Throughout her life, Teresa never met a stranger; her warmth and compassion endeared her to all who knew her and she embraced every opportunity to extend a helping hand. She also had a special affinity for animals, finding joy in the company of creatures big and small, and provided a loving home for many fur babies over the years.
While her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of her loved ones, her legacy of genuine compassion, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. To honor her memory, a celebration life will be held at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home & Cremation Service on May 3rd, 2024 from 5pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to KC Pet Project or any animal shelter of your choice to further advocacy of animal rights.
