Ronald Bruce Tribble, 81, of Olathe, Kansas passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 23, 2024. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he knew.
Ronald was born on September 20, 1942 in Carrollton, Illinois to Milton Gilbert Tribble and Dorthea Caroline (Clendenen) Tribble. He attended and graduated from Carrollton High School. He met the love of his life, Linda Elaine Tremanie in 1962. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada and together they raised their only child Barry Wayne.
Ronald worked as a packer for the ADM Milling Company in North Kansas City, Missouri. He enjoyed camping and traveling with his family on vacations. He would pack up the car, load up his camping equipment and take his family on a long ride to different destinations. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family. Nothing gave “Papa Ronnie” more pleasure in life than the time he spent with his grandchildren. Growing up, his son Barry remembers his dad teaching him to ride a motorcycle. Ronald also served as a Scout Leader and a Scout Master. Ronald was also a member of the Elks Lodge of Shawnee, Kansas. He will be sadly missed.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Milton and Dorthea Tribble, his loving wife of 34 years Linda Elaine (Tremanie) Tribble who passed away in 1996, and his brother Gary Tribble and sister-in-law Vera Tribble. Ronald is also preceded in death by his faithful pup “Cokie Lobo” and his horse “Trigger”. Ronald is survived by his son Barry W. Tribble and his wife Debra of Paola, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are his four grandsons Tyler Tribble, Travis Tribble, Tanner Tribble, Tucker Tribble, granddaughter Ashley Tribble and his two great grandchildren Marlee and Bruce. Brother Stanley Milton Tribble and his wife Stephanie of Eldred, Illinois also survive Ronald.
Ronald will be cremated according to his wishes. A “Celebration of Life” honoring Ronald Tribble will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. Kansas City, Missouri 64105.
