David E. Post

David E. Post of Gardner, KS passed away in the early hours of Monday, January 16th, 2017. Memorial services will be held at the Westside Church of the Nazarene, located at 1700 W. Santa Fe, Olathe, KS 66061 on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00am.

David served proudly in many roles at Williams Foods in Lenexa over the last 25 years, most recently as the Warehouse and Supply Chain Managers. He is remembered as a person you were drawn to and could always make you laugh. Although an avid Chiefs fan and gadget master, family is what meant the most to David. His day to day activities could always be described as “with” somebody, seizing the opportunity to spend the mundane moments as well as the big events with those he loved. He gave openly of himself, doing whatever he could to help somebody out, just because it was what a man did when he could. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanne Witt Post, father Robert Post, and siblings Diane Post, Suzi Post, Richard Post and James “Bobo” Post of Olathe. He is survived by his children Curtis Post of Eudora, and Jenny Ambrose of Overland Park. Siblings Joseph Post of Edgerton, Cindy Post Foster of Olathe, Lori Post JoRay of Olathe, Mike Post of Olathe and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The March of Dimes/ Bikers for Babies in his honor.
