Chester C. Bolen, 85, of Olathe, KS, passed away April 14, 2013. Graveside services with military honors will be 10am, Friday, at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Chester was a longtime employee of Holland Construction and thoroughly enjoyed camping, fishing, racing and KU basketball.
Mr. Bolen was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Judy and his brother Eugene.
He is survived by his 5 loving daughters, Kathy (David) Halterman, Jackie (Ken) Thomas, Susan (Ralph) Locke, Judy (Gerald) Lamb and Karla (Eric) Johnston; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother James Bolen and his canine companion Tigie.He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him!
