Brett Belcher

Brett Wade Belcher, age 47, passed away early morning Friday, August 24, 2018; peacefully in his sleep due to natural cause. He was a wonderful, hard-working, brilliant man and was loved by so many. Brett was proceeded in death by his wonderful parents, his Father, Barry Wayne Belcher and his Mother, Jeanie Louise Belcher. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 31 years, Sheila Belcher and their six beautiful children, Saundra Marie, age 30, Michael Wayne, age 28, Brandon Wade, age26, Whitney Nicole, age 20, Brenten Wesley, age 17, and Mason Cole, age 15, all Belcher, of course. As well as nine precious grandchildren. His family was always top priority for him. Brett was an exceptional son and brother, a favorite cousin, uncle and brother-in-law, a very loving husband, devoted father and an awesome grandpa. He worked very hard to provide for our family. He proudly ran Powerhouse Electric, a custom electrical control panel shop in Gardner, Kansas. He devoted time there to do a job well done and had even recently gone back to college for a degree and electricians license. Although he passed at such a young age, he really did love living such a full life. Brett's memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018, 10:30 A.M. at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe, Kansas 66062. Followed by a celebration of Brett's life at Sidepockets, 13320 W. 87th Street, Lenexa, Kansas 66215. Brett will be missed by so many and will live on in our hearts, forever and always. Our family must now carry on the Belcher tradition with pride.
