Wanda Louise Dickerson

Wanda Louise Dickerson, age 93, formerly of Edmond, Oklahoma left this earthly life on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Katy, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Merlin Dickerson, parents Oscar Lee and Lillian Ione Graham, and her brothers, Leroy and Robert Graham.

Wanda is survived by brothers, Tommy (w Celinda) and Jack Graham. She leaves behind her loving sons, Gary (w Johnetta) Dickerson and Mark (w Lee Ann) Dickerson. She has five grandchildren: David, Alan, Kari, Matthew and Lauren Dickerson. Wanda was blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Madison, Luke, Ansley, Noah, Samuel, Jonathan, Michael and Evelyn Dickerson.

Wanda led a loving life dedicated to her husband and family. Wanda worked for many years in the insurance business at various agencies. She was a respected Miniature and Toy Schnauzer breeder. Wanda is credited with developing the Party Colored Miniature Schnauzers in the United States. The dogs she bred and the friends she made gave her great joy in life.

There will be a graveside service at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 16 at the Kansas Cemetery in Piedmont. All who loved Wanda are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Rise School, 5618 H. Mark Crosswell Jr. Street, Houston TX 77021.

Wanda will dearly be missed by her loved ones.
