Vera Billie Doling

Vera married Francis Doling on January 28, 1945 in El Reno, Oklahoma.

She was extremely active and her life was dedicated to helping others and caring for her family. Vera’s activities included Girl Scout Cookie Chairman, Cub Scout Leader, and Youth Leader at her church and later in her life she was very active in Gideon’s International and The Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her children, Ernie (Jacque) Doling of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Janet (Jim) Rogers of Yukon, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care and Hefner Mansion Staff for their love and care to Vera.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gideon’s International P.O. Box 60843 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73146 and/or to The NEWCHURCH Memorial Fund 9201 N. Rockwell Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73132 in Vera’s memory.

Funeral Services will be held at NEWCHURCH 9201 N. Rockwell, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. with interment following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
