Teresa Ann Wells

She was born April 6, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents, Casmir and Doris Subbie.

Teresa married her beloved, John Rudolph Fuehner, and her first daughter Joanna Ruth Fuehner (Owens) was born in 1969. Remarried to Frederick “Tom” Dunham after losing her first husband, her second daughter Sarah D. Dunham (Lawhead) was born in 1975.

Teresa had a God-given artistic talent. She could create anything she imagined by drawing, sculpting, building, sewing, etc. Her passions included her love for Jesus Christ, family – especially her grandchildren, cooking, gardening, entertaining and politics. There were many moments spent sharing our Faith, watching one of her favorite shows or discussing solutions for world crises over one of her amazing meals. Teresa was kind, compassionate and instant friends with everyone she met. The caring network of family, friends and neighbors is a testament to the kindness, strength and love she emanated.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents, first husband John R. Fuehner and husband Joseph “Jay” Wells. She is survived by her daughter Joanna R. Owens (Fuehner) and husband Nathan; daughter Sarah D. Lawhead (Dunham); grandchildren Sage and Gabby Lawhead, Anna Fuehner and Allison Owens; brother, Casmir “Ted” Subbie and wife Mikey; brother, John P. Subbie; and many dearly loved nephews, nieces and relatives by marriage.

Teresa’s memory will be cherished and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
