Sharon Kaye McDonald, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior May 8, 2024. Sharon was born April 20, 1945 to Hartsel V. and Beulah Smith in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Sharon was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 17 years, Paul McDonald, as well as numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and a grandchild. Family surviving to honor her memory are Billy Mathew, Bill McDonald and his wife Donna, Cathy Simpson and “The Girl”, Ken McDonald and his wife Linda, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Retiring from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 25 years, Sharon later went to work for The Hughs Company, Inc where she continued to work part time. Attending St. Eugene Catholic Church, in North Oklahoma City, Sharon was a dedicated follower and believer.
Graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Friday, May 17, at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Catholic Charities in Sharon McDonald’s name.
