Rose graduated from Seton High School in Baltimore Maryland, Class of 1953. She married Bobbie Lee Countryman January 30th, 1954 and then they moved to Joplin, MO, for a brief time before moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she lived the remainder of her life.
Being a mother of 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren was her most proud accomplishment. She was active in her church parish (St. Eugene’s in Oklahoma City) where she served as Alter Society President earning the honor of Lady of Achievement from her peers. She served our community and church community by offering her time to St. Vincent de Paul.
Rose is survived by her loving spouse of 62 years, Bobbie; her children Donna Marie Bay, Robert Edward Countryman, Alan Eugene Countryman, Lori Anne Martin, Rebecca Lynne Chrisman & their spouses, significant others, as well as 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elsie Marie and Howell Gordon Hall and her brothers Gordon, Edward and Phil Hall, her loving in-laws Frank & Ester Countryman and brother-in-law James Countryman and great grandchild Jordon Andrew Bay.
Visitation will be at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors on Tuesday, November 8th from 5 – 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:00 am, St. Eugene’s Catholic Church, 2400 W. Hefner Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73120
Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 Northwest Grand Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73118
