Ronald Keith Roeseler passed away at his home in Oklahoma City on Nov 30 after a long illness. Born on April 11, 1943, he was the son of Ray and Hazel Marie (Bell) Roeseler. He was preceded in death by his father Ray Roeseler; mother Hazel Hess; brothers Larry Roeseler and Charlie Hess. He is survived by his wife Karen; son Allen Roeseler and his partner Cole Edmonson of Dallas; daughter Lisa Abercrombie and her husband Chris of Houston; grandson Christopher Roeseler; sister Vickie Maddox and her husband Robert of Phoenix; Aunt Louise Lampley and her husband Percy of Vallejo, CA. Ron was a Past Commander of the Oklahoma City Sail and Power Squadron where he was known as Captain Scavenger. He was a member of the Lake Hefner Boat Owners’ Association. An informal memorial service will be held on Dec 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at 8805 NE 23rd St. Karen has requested that everyone wear red (Ron’s favorite color).
